Age Verification Policy

Fannabe, operated by Zillatech Ltd., is for adults only. This policy explains how we make sure that only adults use the Service, and that media uploaded to it depicts only consenting adults. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Minimum age

You must be at least 18 years old, and the age of majority where you live, to create an account or use any part of the Service.

2. How we verify users' age

• At sign-up: every user must confirm that they are at least 18 years old before an account is created.
• At payment: paid features require a payment card or other payment method in the user's own name, issued through a regulated payment provider.
• Identity verification: where needed, users must pass an identity check with our verification provider, Didit. This includes a government ID scan, liveness detection and a selfie-to-ID face match. Users under 18 are declined automatically, expired documents are rejected, and there are no manual overrides. The requirement is enforced on our servers, so features that require verification are never available to unverified users.

3. People shown in uploaded media

Uploaded media may only show adults. Before any uploaded media can be used, the user must confirm that they hold all necessary rights to it and the consent of every person shown or heard in it. We may ask a user to provide proof of age and consent for any person shown in their uploads at any time. Where this cannot be provided, we remove the media and any content generated from it.

4. If we suspect a minor

If we suspect that a user is under 18, or that any content involves or depicts a minor, we immediately suspend the account and remove the content. Where the law requires it, we preserve relevant records and report the matter to law enforcement and other competent authorities. Accounts closed for this reason are not reinstated without successful age verification.

5. Verification data

We use information collected for age verification only to confirm age and consent, and we keep it no longer than needed for that purpose and our legal obligations. More detail is in our Privacy Policy.

6. Reporting and contact

If you believe a minor is using Fannabe, or that content involves a minor, report it immediately through our Complaints, Takedown & Appeals Policy. Questions about this policy can be sent to hello@fannabe.com.
