Report Content & Takedown Requests
Last updated: 1 October 2026
This page explains how to report content on Fannabe that is illegal, non-consensual or breaks our Acceptable Use Policy, and what we do when we receive a report. Anyone can submit a report. You do not need a Fannabe account.
1. What you can report
- content that involves or appears to involve anyone under 18;
- sexual or intimate content of a real person made or shared without their consent, including deepfakes and face swaps;
- content that uses your face, body, voice or identity without your permission;
- content showing sexual violence, coercion or other material prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy;
- harassment, threats, blackmail, impersonation or fraud; and
- content that infringes your copyright or other rights.
2. How to submit a report
Email report@fannabe.com with the subject line "Content report". To help us act quickly, please include:
- a link to the content, or the username, character name or other details that help us find it;
- the reason for your report and which rule you believe is being broken;
- whether you are the person shown in the content, or reporting on someone's behalf; and
- an email address where we can contact you.
If the content shows you without your consent, please say so clearly in your report so we can prioritise it. We may ask for limited information to confirm that you are the person depicted. We use this only to handle your request.
3. What happens after you report
- Acknowledgement: we confirm receipt of your report within 24 hours.
- Content involving minors: removed immediately once identified, the account is closed, and the matter is reported to the relevant authorities.
- Non-consensual intimate content: removed within 48 hours of a valid report, and usually sooner.
- All other reports: reviewed and resolved within 7 business days.
While we review a report, we may restrict access to the reported content. Once we have reached a decision, we tell you the outcome. Where we remove content, we also take reasonable steps to prevent the same content from being generated or uploaded again.
4. Action against accounts
Depending on the severity of the breach, we may remove content, warn the user, restrict features, or suspend or permanently close the account. Where the law requires it, or where someone may be at risk, we preserve relevant records and report the matter to law enforcement and other competent authorities.
5. Appeals
If your content was removed or your account was restricted and you believe this was a mistake, you can appeal within 14 days by replying to our notification or emailing report@fannabe.com with the subject line "Appeal". Explain why you believe the decision was wrong. A team member who was not involved in the original decision will review it, and we aim to respond within 7 business days. Removals involving minors or confirmed non-consensual content are not reversed.
6. Copyright complaints
If you believe content on Fannabe infringes your copyright, email report@fannabe.com with the subject line "Copyright complaint". Identify the work you own, the content you believe infringes it, and your contact details, and confirm that the information in your complaint is accurate.
7. Requests from authorities
Law enforcement and other public authorities can contact us at report@fannabe.com. We respond to valid legal requests in line with applicable law.
